Constanta Casino — The Art Nouveau Jewel of the Black Sea
Sit on the AER terrace, gaze at the sea and, 30 minutes north by car, find one of Romania's most spectacular buildings — Constanta Casino.
Built in 1910 to designs by architect Daniel Renard, the Casino is a symbol of Constanta and a European architectural monument. Its eclectic style, with Art Nouveau and neo-baroque influences, makes it instantly recognisable.
What to see
The sea-facing facade has served as a natural backdrop for dozens of European films. The surrounding area — Piata Ovidiu, Carol I Mosque and Genoese Lighthouse — can be explored on foot in two hours.
Getting there from AER Apart
30 km via DN39 → A2 → Remus Opreanu street. Free parking. Distance: 30 min by car.
