Accessibility statement

1. Our commitment

La Mer Noire SRL is committed to making aerapart.ro accessible to as many users as possible, including people with disabilities. We continuously work to comply with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard from W3C and web accessibility best practices.

2. Conformance status

The aerapart.ro website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially compliant" means most requirements are met, but some elements are still being improved.

3. Implemented accessibility features

• Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Escape).
• ARIA labels on interactive elements (buttons, forms, navigation).
• Verified colour contrast for text and buttons.
• Alternative text for meaningful images (alt attribute).
• Screen reader support (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
• Clear semantic structure (hierarchical headings, landmarks).
• Bilingual support (Romanian / English) with correct lang attributes.
• Responsive design — works on desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Zoom up to 200% without content loss.

4. Known limitations

• Auto-scrolling photo galleries can be difficult with screen readers. We are working on a version with pause and manual navigation.
• Older videos lack captions. We add captions to new video content.
• Older PDF documents (occasional menus or brochures) are not properly tagged. We are reprinting them progressively in accessible format.

We respond within a maximum of 5 working days. If there is an urgent barrier (e.g. the booking form is blocked), we offer an alternative (phone or email) to complete the operation.

6. Enforcement procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe your rights are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the Romanian Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR), the supervisory body for public site accessibility under Law 112/2024.

7. Technologies used

This site uses semantic HTML5, CSS3 and progressive JavaScript. It works without JavaScript for the main content. Recommended browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — current and previous versions.

8. Assessment method

This statement was prepared by self-assessment, using the WAVE and axe DevTools automated tools, plus manual keyboard and NVDA screen reader testing.

This statement was last updated on the publication date above and will be reviewed at least once a year or whenever the site undergoes significant changes.
